This Privacy Policy describes how Clark Remi Software L.L.C S.P.C ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use Remi — a WhatsApp-based AI assistant for reminders, to-dos, and lists.

We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) and any applicable regulations issued thereunder.

2. Data we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the Remi service:

We do not collect payment information, location data, or any data from your device beyond what WhatsApp transmits as part of its standard messaging infrastructure.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.


4. WhatsApp and Meta

Remi operates as a business account on the WhatsApp platform, which is owned by Meta Platforms, Inc. Messages sent to and from Remi are subject to WhatsApp's own Privacy Policy in addition to this one. We recommend reviewing WhatsApp's privacy policy at whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy.

We access message content solely to fulfil your requests. We do not share your message content with Meta beyond what is inherent in using the WhatsApp Business API.


5. Data sharing and third parties

We may share your data with a limited set of trusted third-party service providers who help us operate Remi, including cloud hosting providers and AI infrastructure providers. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to deliver services on our behalf.

We will disclose your data if required to do so by applicable UAE law, a court order, or a lawful request from a competent authority.

We do not otherwise sell, trade, or transfer your personal data to outside parties.


6. Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Message history and reminder data are retained to enable the service to function correctly across sessions.

If you request deletion of your data, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.


7. Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. These include encrypted data storage, access controls, and regular security reviews.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

Remi is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.


10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of Remi after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.


11. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising in connection with this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
