1. Who we are
Remi is a WhatsApp-based assistant for reminders, to-dos, and lists, operated by Clark Remi Software L.L.C S.P.C ("we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated under the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
By accessing or using Remi, you ("you", "your", "User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Remi. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using Remi you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. The service
Remi provides a conversational AI assistant accessible via WhatsApp. The service allows you to set reminders, manage to-do lists, create shared lists, and interact with your personal data through natural language messages.
Remi is currently in beta. Access is by invitation only and features may change, be added, or be removed without prior notice. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the service during this period.
4. User responsibilities
When using Remi you agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of UAE federal law;
- Send abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise harmful content;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise access the underlying systems of Remi;
- Impersonate any person or entity;
- Use the service to transmit spam, malware, or unsolicited commercial messages;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
You are solely responsible for all content and instructions you send through Remi.
5. WhatsApp and third-party platforms
Remi operates through WhatsApp. Your use of WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which are independent of these Terms. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. or WhatsApp LLC.
We are not responsible for any issues arising from WhatsApp's platform, including service outages, message delivery failures, or changes to WhatsApp's policies.
6. Intellectual property
All content, technology, branding, and materials associated with Remi — including but not limited to the name "Remi", the service interface, and underlying software — are the property of Clark Remi Software L.L.C S.P.C and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any personal content or data you provide. By using the service you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your messages and data solely to deliver the service to you.
7. Disclaimers
Remi is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that reminders or notifications will always be delivered on time.
You should not rely solely on Remi for time-critical obligations. We strongly recommend maintaining independent backups of important information.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Clark Remi Software L.L.C S.P.C shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Remi, including missed reminders, data loss, or service interruptions.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the amount, if any, you have paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Remi at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or if we decide to discontinue the service.
You may stop using Remi at any time by ceasing to send messages to the Remi WhatsApp number.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Remi after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
